Jehovah Jireh! The Lord my Provider

Today was the first day back at an all-afternoon co-op in well over a year.  Since the baby was born, life has been crazy and we haven't done a whole lot in the way of organized co-ops and outings. (See tomorrow's post for more details ;-)  ).

I sensed that it was time for some enrichment classes (especially in the areas of fine arts and computer programming)-- so, I took the plunge and signed us all up for Spring session.  And, I even volunteered to 'lead' the Pre-K class during playground time, which would put the baby into the nursery for an hour.  (Yes, I know....no big deal...that is until it rains and you've gotta keep 'em active and going during your hour).

I have to admit, I was VERY apprehensive about this whole thing.  Would the baby be alright in the nursery, how was I going to work him getting a nap, would I be able to get everyone out the door......ahhhhhh!

As it turns out, we were early to co-op and the kids all got to their classes without incident.  The baby ended up falling asleep in the van and napped through the 1st hour of class before I needed to put him in the nursery.  So, sitting in the van for an hour of quiet time for both of us was a blessing!

Then came the part you are all waiting for ..... would the baby be alright in the nursery?  Well.  No, he screamed his head off for a few minutes.  Fortunately, it all worked itself out so that I was able to bring him with me to the playground.  He loved sitting and playing in the sand and the Preschoolers were all on their best behavior.

Third hour came around and I thought the baby and I would just stroll about and enjoy the weather.  We ended up in the midst of a bible study for "The Power of a Praying Parent".  Now, I have to admit, that my quiet time as of late has been sporadic.  I have been praying for a bible study to attend.  I didn't get to spend much time in the class, but, in the few minutes I did get, God met me right were I'm at!!!  Praise the Lord!

God always amazes me.  I did the co-op for the kids, and ended up being blessed, recharged and empowered myself!
