Bombus the Bumble Bee Book Review!

Bombus the Bumble Bee
Bombus the Bumble Bee

Bombus the Bumblebee is a delightful book that draws attention to the diversity in God's creation and encourages individuals to celebrate their uniqueness.

The book opens with  Bombus busily enjoying nectar when some naughty honeybees decide to show off and put doubts into Bombus' head in regards to his ability to fly.

After listening and watching the honeybees, Bombus concludes that he is too big, too fat and too ugly.  He begins to compare himself to the other flying creatures and sees how his differences cause him to 'fall short'.

God speaks to Bombus, telling him to fly because He gave him flight regardless of what other creatures are telling him.

This colorful books is also filled with Bumblebee facts, discussion questions and fun, creative activities.

I read this book with my 7 year old daughter who really liked the illustrations and activities.

I received this book free of charge in exchange for an honest review.
