This week’s question is:
"What special activities do you do in the fall or autumn?"
Well, since we moved to the tropics, fall has taken on an entirely new meaning! In fact, figuring out the seasons is a bit tricky when you have 'temperate', 'hot' and 'rediculously hot'.
This really hit home when I discovered that my 8 year old (who was a toddler when we moved) struggled with the concept of 'fall' and 'winter'.
Since we don't rake leaves, or even see them change colors, I've taken steps to decorate the house in the flavor of autumn.
For September: Apples
October: Fall leaves, acorns and pumpkins.
And, since we can't visit apple orchards, we do take time to enjoy the temperate weather during the late fall and get outside as much as possible!
