TOS Crew The Person I Marry Book Review

"Long before thinking of diamonds & glitter, here are some things that I need to consider."
The Person I Marry
The Person I Marry

The things that make up a person's outside are shallow, but deeper qualities like kindness, honesty, faithfulness, thoughtfulness, respect are what help build strong relationships.  Written in poetry by award-winning author Gary Bower, and featuring the breathtaking oil paintings of award-winning artist Jan Bower, The Person I Marry is an adorable, yet profound, book that will penetrate hearts of men and women, boys and girls.  Loved by young children, teens, engaged couples, and seasoned married people.

The Person I Marry was awarded "2010 Book of the Year" by the Christian Small Publisher Association.  Created during the authors' 30th anniversary as a tool for tenderizing the hearts of their  12 children.

I had the chance to read this 32 page book with my children ages 13, 10 and 8.  It was an absolute pleasant read filled with the right things to look for in a spouse written in rhyme.  I was especially pleased to see the references to 'the future spouse' as being the second love and Jesus as the first!

This book is beautifully illustrated!!  Though your girls' will probably like it more than your boys', it still is a wonderful teaching tool for either gender!

The Person I Marry retails for $11.99 in hardback.

This book is part of the "Bright Future Series".  Other titles include:  There's a Party in Heaven, The Jingle in My Pocket, and What Do Heroes Where.  You can check out Bower Books at http://www.bowerbooks.com/
